My reserved truck rental was not ready on the day I needed it causing me to need to rush a 2 day move in 12 hours. When I showed up the following day, the gentleman helping me behind the counter was extremely rude. I was obviously in a rush, but instead of getting me taken care of ( a day late) he decided to stop processing my rental and help every customer who walked through the door. I then had to wait an additional 15 minutes for him to correct my paperwork because I was supposed to have a quarter tank of gas but was on empty. On top of all of that, they charged me an additional fee that im waiting to be refunded for. 10/10, would not recommend. Ill be going somewhere else in the future.

After reserving a Uhaul at a specific location very near my house and at a specific time, I was contacted less than 24 hours before my scheduled pick up time and told that I would need to do the pick up at a totally different location, 15 miles in the wrong direction, and that I would not be able to pick it up until an hour later. I had already scheduled everything around the scheduled pick up location and time. After discussing this situation with both the customer service rep and their supposed supervisor, I ended up picking up the trailer at a location nearer to my home but the evening before my scheduled pick up which caused me to incur an additional days worth of rental expenses. I attempted to get the supposed supervisor to at least waive one day of rental fees but she refused. On top of all of this, I was told I could only pick up the trailer during operating hours because the employee is required to do an inspection with me and connect the trailer to my vehicle. None of that occurred. I ended up doing my own inspection and connecting the trailer to my vehicle myself. And upon return, though it was during operating hours, no inspection was performed by the employee and I ended up disconnecting the trailer and leaving it where it was. I am incredibly dissatisfied with every aspect of service that I received on this occasion and will ensure that i make everyone I know aware of it. And to be honest if there was an alternative company to Uhaul for trailer rentals I would never use Uhaul again. Chris

Tuulima LWhen I showed up to pick up my truck, the attendant seemed like I was distracting him from his other business and an annoyance to have to tend to the U-Haul side of the business. None of the equipment I rented was ready and I had to help retrieve it from the back room and bring it all out to the truck on my own. The truck had a very sticky floor on areas covering about 1/4 of the truck. When I returned the truck, I was ordered to go out and grab all blankets and equipment and bring them back in to the facility. He then instructed my wife to carry them all the way back to the back room. I have never had this request before and especially didn't like the way that it was asked. It was not a kind request to help, it was an order. I will not be renting from this facility again and havnt heard anything good about the other facilities in Tracy, CA. I am forced to go to manteca or dublin to an actual U-Haul store.
