The staff at Warthers Originals was excellent. They were friendly, helpful, and made the rental process as easy as possible. I also want to recognize the U-Haul customer service representatives I spoke with by phone, they were professional, responsive, and did a great job helping resolve the issues I experienced. Unfortunately, the trucks themselves were a different story. The first truck was in such poor mechanical condition that I didn’t feel it was safe to drive and had to return it for a replacement. The second truck was an improvement, but it still had obvious maintenance issues. U-Haul charges a premium for truck rentals, and customers should be able to expect equipment that is safe, reliable, and properly maintained. The people did everything right, the trucks did not. I hope U-Haul invests more in maintaining its fleet because the customer service deserves equipment that matches the quality of the employees.
