The office worked hard to sort out my expired credit card. They had the patience to figure this out and update the file for me. So kind.
shereen w | First ImpressionsMy issues are not with the staff or the process. My issue are with how easily accessible the experience was and the overall layout of the general space. I will say this was in winter and there was slush on the ground. i understand the challenges of winter had a role to play here, but things could be improved still. Issues: there are 2 roll up doors where you can park up and unload your truck. with 4 outlined stall spots marked up and available for loading/unlaoding purposes. one of the zones was not accessible to any vehicle as essentially its only usable if the adjacent stall was not occupied, and you had the curtousy and awareness to occupy that stall instead of the other 3 which are easier to access. Also in one of the premium stalls that are right in front of the roll up door and facing the sliding door to the inside of the facility was occupied by passenger vehicle parked facing in, I waited about an hour at the bay until one of the stalls freed up so i can back up my trailer and unload my stuff. the owner of that unattended passenger vehicle never showed up for the 2.5hrs i spent at the facility unloading my trailer. i didn't see a single person unload anything or touch the car. after unloading and upon leaving there was a massive transport truck blocking my way out of the loading/unloading bays. I can only assume this transport truck was on the property to load/unload the Uhaul storage boxes stored in the building accross the parking lot i was able to squeeze my car and trailer out but i was only able to do that cause i took that bad loading spot with no door facing the parking lot out of courtesy for other costumers. thankfully my car and trailer had to be at an angle to get out of that specific stall. if i was in any of the other 3 stalls then i would have had to wait for the transport truck. also i did look for the driver but the truck was unattended at that time. Overall I had no issues with the trailer or the locker itself as both were clean and ready for me to use. the amenities and attention to the customer experience needs to improve. I have rented many units in my time at various storage facilities including Dymon storage, Public Storage, UltaStor, Access storage etc. Uhaul staorage has been my least favourite to date. I hope this was an isolated incident and an unusually busy day. That said my last grievance was with the common area floor of the facility and the complementary carts. the floor has seen better days and there are chunk missing in the final epoxy coat. the carts were a little beat up and quite small to move larger items. this just means you need to take more trips and apply more effort to move your stuff. in the hour i spent waiting for a stall, i saw like 3-4 different families struggle and have stuff fall off the carts as their were small and the ground was very bumpy. Again in comparison to Dymon Storage, they provide better quality carts with a wider footprint, they also are better quality then the carts U-Haul provides and the ground condition is not as deteriorated which causes more added hardship during the move in/out which is already stressful experience as everyone knows. I understand these are not deal breakers its just disappointing to go through these nuisances and I highly doubt i would rent again in the future if i need more space.

Richard B | Overall ExperienceThe storage and the facility was very nice and clean….But hear me out …the manager himself needs to have self control and respect to customers and how to express a situation and make sure he check his side before accusing consumers. That happen twice with me When the first payment came I didn’t register to automatic renew because I want to come to the office …. I received calls and messages on the first and I explain him the situation….. but instead to sent me the bill he wrote a letter and send it to my sister who living in Ottawa… give me the reason I don’t know So I decide to move from this place on November first again he called me Text me and email because the payment due November first wasn’t made…. So I reply to him that I am coming to pickup my stuff..so he he told me that I have until 7pm to come….. on that day I pick up my stuff and the lady who was there told me to remove my lock because I already paid for it…… so I left On Monday November 3rd I received calls and with email message from the manager who start with threat. That I have to pay or you need to remove my stuff or he gonna throw my stuff out in the unit …as I told him as. A manager he did wrong before calling me he should check with his staff Orin their system that I was there on Saturday …. I keep these emails we exchange …. This person should apologize before assuming false information he should check before sending me these non sense messages If I have to choose I will not go back there I will choose another facility even share my experience with friends about this matter Thank you

In fact a few things were missing. After being a customer for so long Bj itt seemed out of line. The problem with my cc was fixed in on day. Seemed very hasty!
