Mildred G | First ImpressionsI was renting this storage unit for years and my closing time of this unit was unfortunately not a very friendly one. The employee at this Branch location was a little rude, not friendly. I went in I said I was closing a storage unit. He ended up charging me another month fee which was over $200. Then told me to call customer service to put a complaint on that because the computer said that's what he had a charge. If I was there for closing a unit. I don't understand why they charged me another month but anyway my purpose of leaving is because I was already fed up with the way U-Haul was running this location. I am very proud to have left.
Jose F | Overall ExperienceThe unit I was assigned did not have any lighting. It was not climate controlled which I expected. My belongings have a strange odor. Access was extremely inconvenient. I was grateful to be assigned a first floor unit but even so the unit was very difficult to access. Parking was horrible. The loading dock was always lock. Even if I could access it was way too high for car access and I would not be able to get inside from the ground. I would never use this use this location again or recommend it to anyone. It was also dirty outside. Trash, and leaves all around. When I was taking my belongings out the last day a dead baby bird was on the ground next to the hose that the employees were using to clean the trucks. No one bothered to dispose of it. I am sure they walked past it a number of times. The hose was always laying around causing a trip hazard for those accessing the door to the units.
BERNADETTE J | Overall ExperienceThere is too much misinformation especially between the persons at the locations and the U-Haul operators. I was told I had a month free with a storage unit, only to find out at the location that is not accurate. I am very disappointed! I will never recommend this company or its service to anyone.
