The layout is terrible, half the time I could not get to my storage locker and had to wait for rentals to be moved. There is no signage or paint to tell people not to leave return vehicles in the way of the storage access and even if there was the place is so full there is no where for them to be left. If I wanted to access my unit before employee hours there is a strong chance it would be blocked by new returns. This was absolutely unacceptable and a terrible experience. The entrance is shared with a car dealership who double parks and the uhaul triple parks on their side making it an absolute nightmare. 0/10 would never recommend.
Jordan W | Overall ExperiencePrice was good. Staff often confused or seemed annoyed that we wanted help or asked questions. Access to locker main entrance was a nightmare. Seemed like we were caught in a dispute between Honda and U-Haul on who owned the access road. There were times we could not get a vehicle to the building. There were times the access road was totally blocked. We spoke to a manager(s) on a number of occasions. Apologies but no change made. Trucks parked every where. Finally had enough. We had rented for many years but couldn’t deal with the lack of access to the building. Would have stayed but found a different location for our storage. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone until access issues are fixed.

GORDON Q | First Impressionspoor storage location. To upload or download stuffs to storage takes too much detour. The main entrance gate was way too far. Used move/out feature from the app, but it didnt work. it say its in pending “waiting for uhaul employee to check the storage” then it never happened. i waited roughly 6 days then I had to walked into the Uhaul to completed move-out process.

MARGARITA G | Overall ExperienceNot as a disparaging remark intended but speaking another language back and forth between employees while tending to customers are 1.) intimidating make the customer feel that they are acting in a conspiracy to rip off the customer. 2.) and asking for the employee to repeat wha they are saying to us the customer due to their heavy accent is not meant to insult.
George L | Overall ExperienceHorrible experience had to store my personal items due to restoration work and a week before I had to take my stuff they were flooded by rain apparently not the first time. My unit was the worst hit. When I paid for unit I was never told of this incident or asked if I wanted to purchase insurance. I also recently received a notice advising the price of the unit is going up. Now we wait they said I can only choose to get refunded or go through claims. That is so wrong I should get refunded and also be able to submit claim for items damaged.

ROBERT U | Overall ExperienceThe good: Barbara is an actual superstar. Everytime I’ve needed help with something she’s been so helpful and kind. I notice other staff members seek her out for guidance as well. She seems like a great leader. The bad: it’s very hard to access the storage unit. There were often uboxes being stored in the loading bay and the neighbouring business block the road most days. On more than one occasion staff from the business next door were in their car, parked in the storage loading bay having lunch.

maryellen t | Overall ExperienceI was very upset when i had originally reserved the storage as i was moving down from north vancouver island 8 hours away and had reserved the storage at the smae time as the truck weeks before. When i finally got to the storage facility i was told my storage reservation was taken by another customer. I was confused because i had RESERVED it and then after driving 8 hours and nowhere else to take my things i was told it was first come first serve. So i dont understand what the point of reserving was. They originally were going to let me just walk away with nothing i had to ASK if there were other units available. Which there were but not the size i reserved so i needed to get a bigger one at a more expensive rate. THEN they were not going to honor my first free month from my original RESERVATION because i was taking a different unit. Eventually everything got sorted but was a hugely unnecessary added stress to my move. I did reccommend my friend NOT to choose uhaul for their storage and moving needs because i did not want them to go through the same thing i did. They chose a different company and it went smooth with zero issues. Unfortunate.
