Meredith H | Overall ExperienceThree keypads at this location. It was cold and it took forever to and a phone call to customer service to find out what I was doing wrong. The unit was hard to find with even the map. Stairs were brutal when carrying things up over and over again. On the bright side it was well lit. My daughters found the bathroom convenient. There was four carts to use and made the job easier to do. We were able to back up to the doors to get closer to the unit. Trash cans were nice for things we broke during the move. Wish there was a few more.

I would recommend U-Haul very highly for a truck rental or storage place with climate control and easy access for storage and very nice polite employees that are ready to help. Barb
Barbara F | First ImpressionsRough area of DSM. Staff did their best under the circumstances to make me feel safe. I encountered an issue of people sneaking in and smoking drugs in the facility. Being short staffed it was impossible for employees to keep track of the those people and wait on customers. Overall experience with staff and them helping customers was good.
