Access is supposed to be until 10pm but absolutely no access after the store closes. I rented a U-Haul truck and a storage unit at the same time. I had only 24 hours to be out of the apartment I was leaving and was doing multiple trips to unload the loaded truck. When i arrived at 8pm to unload the truck, the card I was given didn’t work, the access code didn’t work and when I called the help desk, I was told that I would have to wait until the next day when the store opened and I had to explain that was not an option for me because I had a loaded truck and still had more items in the apartment that needed to be loaded. I was on the phone with U-Haul for exactly 47 minutes and by the time I was finally able to get access, (after crawling under a broken bay door) I only had 40 minutes left to unload and put me behind on getting the rest of the items out, so I ended up have to call into work the next day so that I could finally finish unloading.

Timothy F | Overall ExperienceUhaul storage in Houma has a lil recycle area? It’s for things you decide not to keep as you are cleaning out your storage. They also welcome your flattened boxes so that others can reuse them. Super easy to deal with and friendly staff too. Plus they have bathrooms on site. Same old bathrooms from the Kmart days. Back in the layaway area.
