I had a great experience at U-haul, the move was smooth and the people on the building seemed to be very helpful. I had no room in my storage for a mattress that I had planned on getting rid of anyway because it was uncomfortable, I never slept on it due that and I had spilled some of premature grandchild’s iron drops bottle on my bed. It was a horrible looking brown spot. I saw a poster that said customers could use their trash for a fee. So my daughter and I loaded the mattress back onto the u-haul and drove to the front office to ask where the trash was that they said they had for customers for a fee. The nice man told me that I could leave it at a lace inside the building labeled reuse and gave us directions to the area. My daughter and I dropped the mattress off and left. The next day I get a phone call from a lady at U-Haul stating that they SAW me on camera place that mattress in their reuse section(as if we were sneaking the mattress their and hadn’t gotten permission from their employees) and then she proceeded to say it was infested with with bed bugs and they wanted to bomb at no charge our unit and the mattress for their protection and the other customers!!!!!!! I WAS LIVID to say the least. I KNOW FOR A FACT THEY DIDNT SEE snubbed bugs on that mattress. I immediately went back up there and took Sam with me to show me the bed bugs in the mattress. We both looked alll over the mate NOT ONE BED BUG. I call the rude and nasty person who called me initially to let her her hear the employee say she or I do not see any bed bugs on that mattress. She still proceeded to say they were still going to bomb around my unit as if I am this sneaky dishonest person with bed bugs instead of the wrongful accused and offended customer. The lady should have taken accountability and apologized the way Sam did. Sam was very helpful and took some kind of accountability for their mistake. However, I was disappointed in the way that I was approached as a paying customer
