I rented this storage unit for over 4 years, for the last year of my rental I was essentially unable to access my unit. It started with constant phone calls about my unit being “locked open” leading me to believe it wasn’t properly secured and leaving work to come check. Only to find the unit wasn’t locking properly due to an issue with the units door itself. They continued to call me over and over, with me visiting to try and fix it multiple times over the course of multiple months. They finally said they submitted a work order for the door to be fixed. At this point I’m already over it and just want to leave. Due to the door being broken I could only come to my unit during staffed hours which I work during also. The amount of time, phone calls, arguing with staff because every time I came to see if it was fixed they had no idea what I was talking about. The staff seem to have no communication or efficient management whatsoever. I finally came with a truck after over a year and said I’m done I’m taking my stuff I want to cancel everything. The manager was there and said the unit had been fixed. Only to find out they “fixed” the wrong unit and there was a unknown lock on my unit that they could not find the key to and had no idea how to get in. The manager was apologetic and refunded a months worth of payment but had to have someone come grind the lock off just so I could get in it and get my stuff. I would never rent from them again and honestly feel like my stuff wasn’t even safe there since it was unlocked half the time without me knowing. Also furniture I had in my unit had become moldy, meaning it was not at all fully clean or dry in the unit. Waste of money on such a horrid experience all for my stuff to be ruined. They also refuse to let you throw anything away and will scream at you if you put even just a normal bag of trash in the massive dumpsters.

I had huge gaps at the opening of my unit that not only could have caused me to trip and fall or possibly twist my ankle or worse...the gaps allowed for mice to enter the units. I had a number of pieces of clothing that were ruined by mice and there was mice feces all over. I actually watched a mouse enter my unit while I was moving items out. I also had seen dead mice on the grounds. i never keep food items or things that would attract vermen. The property manager was wonderful to work with.
