KIMBERLY A | Overall ExperienceI ha a unit for over 2 years. I switched after year one and got a smaller one and asked if I could be up front I was told no because there were no entry units, however there were several empty units on the very first row.
Ladeshia B | Overall ExperienceIt’s ironic, but until my last visit when everything got accomplished - I was not very happy with my experiences at the counter. I spoke / dealt with two different individuals on my first two visits to try and set up a monthly 5’ x 10’ indoor storage unit and got different information from each on what was going to be required, etc…. It wasn’t until my 3rd visit to try and get everything squared away that everything went effortlessly. The young lady that helped me had red hair and she was absolutely fantastic! I would mention her name, but do not see it on any of my paperwork……she was great! I was so frustrated after my first two trips to the counter that I didn’t even want to work with U-Haul any longer, but the young red headed lady got me taken care of and made the whole experience wonderful.
RANDY H | First ImpressionsHarassed me after I moved out. Told them I had already retrieved my items and the rest was trash. They still charged me monthly .. and billed me for late fees on a unit I clearly told I wasn't using any more. Very disrespectful on the phone. No interest in being understanding when I told them I no longer live in McDonough and couldnt physically get there to sign a paper. So they steady charged me for a unit I wasn't using and I'm still getting threats by email for payment of over 200$ and haven't been to the unit in over 4 months.!!!! Just horrible customer service.... You'll do better storing your stuff in the ground!!!
Duwan T | Overall ExperienceI wouldn’t recommend this facility because it is by far the most expensive compared to other surrounding storage units that have larger, cleaner, safer units for half U-Haul’s price. As so far as the staff, never been a fan of treating costumers less than the visitors and implementing rules because of visitors that inconvenience customers. And again… way too expensive. I got another unit twice as big for half the price.
