The rat urine and feces all over everything was horrible. And there were roaches too. I had the unit for several years and it was great in the beginning. I hope they’re able to fix the issue

How U-Haul Reviews WorkThe water outside the unit was disgusting. Insect everywhere, quite a few of my belongings got wet. The staff was excellent and deserved a higher rating but the water issue should be addressed.
Timothy V | Overall ExperienceNo staff to speak of. The instructions on how to get in initially were non-existent. There is no air-conditioning in the loading bay and the doors close automatically so it was very hot while unpacking the truck
Sandra B | Overall Experience👍
Raymond G | Overall ExperienceI love uhaul storage. Disappointed that they didn’t deliver truck and it added mileage also the truck was not there so carrying was difficult!
Marilyn H | Overall ExperienceBetter than most
Leslie H | Overall ExperienceI did not receive my free lock in the unit. The outside of the unit was very hard to access due to massive pools of water outside of it.
Matthew B | Online Move InMoving out process a little delay had to call but taken care of at the time of call.
James P | Overall ExperienceI do not recommend the Merritt Island location. The upkeep is poor. The rat infestation & bugs is horrible and your stuff gets ruined by rat droppings
Tomiko G | Overall ExperienceThe temporary lock was already broken and someone stole my lock. I had to drive to another location to get one. Still glad to have one.
Heather M | Online Move InI live in NC, my mother's belongings were stored in this facility until I was emotionally ready to come retrieve her items. It was an easy process to move her it me out even though it was a Sat and no one was physically there, I was able to speak to a person surprisingly fast. At almost nearly 4 years her items were protected.
dawn F | Overall ExperienceVery Poor customer service. Rodent control box in my unit apparently attracted a rat and it died in my unit. I terminated my rental and will not go back there again.
TONY C | Overall ExperienceFriendly staff and went above and beyond to help with the perfect sized rental unit.
Jeff S | Overall ExperienceFrom a free month due to one way truck rental
Elias S | First ImpressionsThe best storage facility I have ever rented! Especially wan to thank Marissa and Edwin for being so helpful, kind and amazing! Thank you!
SAMANTHA D | Overall ExperienceI would like to express my sincere gratitude to the team at U-Haul Merritt Island for their outstanding service, kindness, and empathy during a very difficult personal situation in my life.
