Was never able to “arm” our unit. Staff said that was ok. Also would appreciate a longer time to have the entry doors open before alarms go off. Staff was really great!

KEITH M | Overall ExperienceThis U-Haul made our lives so much easier! We sold two homes and purchased one, but there was about 2-3 months before we could move into the new house. We rented a truck, used the U-Haul movers, and put everything into storage. Then, after being homeless for a bit, we moved it all out and into our new place. Double Diamond U-Haul is tops. The facility is clean, safe and secure. Staff is extremely pleasant. They do their business right! Everything from truck & trailer rental to storage units to purchasing packing and moving supplies, we had excellent service and a quality purchase. Thank you to the entire place. We won’t go anywhere else from now on.
Caren C | Overall ExperienceI do not know what average would be, because I have only used U-Haul twice. The U-Haul in Goldfield, Nevada is definitely five star. A family runs it and every single person in that family was very helpful/nice! The U-Haul In ABQ, at 600 ?, SE., was fair, because the lady Haleil, had two jobs to do and she was overwhelmed. Nevertheless, she was a bit on the passive side. The communication between the U-Haul‘s, interstate, was very poor; once I got a text telling me I needed to return the RV in a couple of days and another time I got a text saying I needed to go to court. Apparently these were automatic texts since I wasn’t to return the u-Haul truck for at least 10 days. But you are asking about the storage unit, and the storage unit was five star – excellent!! The first time, when I moved from Oregon to Nevada, I used a pod, and everything was a piece of cake! 😊 this time, however, it was 1000% more difficult because of lack of communication between the difference U-Haul‘s in the state of Nevada and New Mexico! In the beginning, it was nothing short of frustrating. Towards the end, it was very pleasant, because it seemed that the communication between the U-Haul‘s and me, got better, by about 1000%! Again, the Storage process and unit, were excellent!

Site Manager, Ms. Kaitlan very courteous, professional, efficient, effective, clear communications.Staff, Rudy also was very helpful, pleasant and courteous. There were busy intervals and customers lined up w different needs at the counter including answering the office phones. Kaitlan and Rudy worked as a team and helped to serve each one successfully. Which could Be a real problem. When the GM is on vacation there has to be a go to person to anasser the phone 24-7. Especially if the facility is going to be accessible 24 hours. There’s always going to be that one occurrence.
