U-Haul has provided excellent service. We didn't leave UHaul, just secured a smaller locker
Michael C | Overall ExperienceI was unloading my belongings and went to leave at 956. By the time I got to the gate it was 10. The gate would not open to LET ME OUT. I understand not being let in. But let out? When I called the office, the manager on call said she lived too far out and could not help me. I had to climb the fence and have my husband come get me. Leaving my vehicle behind. I was told I would receive one month free when starting up with them. I do not believe I received this because upon trying to end my rental with them I was forced to pay that months payment. Because they do not allow to prorate the month. Though I was leaving before any rent was due. And should have received my one month free meaning I should be paying ahead of time which I guess I was NOT. No one was willing to help. This place is ridiculous! I will NEVER use uhaul again. Terrible customer service. Nationwide company that can’t get a gate that opens to let people out? Or staff that are anle to help? Why let someone be on call that lives to far to help? Stupid. Never again.

She knew there was basically a full unit and the paper I signed about removing our possessions said that at 2145 hrs(945pm), that I had to be done and anything of ours left the property would become Uhaul storage on 40th street's property and would be auctioned off or thrown away. There was alot of personal things of mine and my girl friend's in there still. She (the manager), knew we wouldn't be able to get everything out in two hours and fifteen minutes. My moving partner and I arrived in Springdale at roughly 5pm(1700hrs) and we're not permitted onto the property until about 7-715pm(1900-1915hrs). The little troll that sounds like Roscoe P Coaltrane and "gaurds" this one and 3 or 4 other storage sites did nothing but get in the way and slow us down, especially after he found out and remembered that we were the unit with a Jeep inside. He told me that since we left our things there he had "acquired" five other Jeeps. He seemed pretty bent on getting me to leave the Jeep. Overall I am very disgusted with the way we were handled even with the deal on the price for moving out. The manager wouldn't speak with me directly, on the phone or face to face, after our first exchange. The troll was the middle man and I dont know if he ever told the truth. I would never use again nor recommend them to anybody, ever.

Then threatened to call the police for making a fraudulent payment in opening the locker. The manager was horrible and the service was ridiculously pathetic. I will never use a U-Haul storage facility again and will tell everyone I know what they did to me. I am very disappointed and angry with U-Haul and the people in charge of the 40th street location in Springdale Arkansas.
