GINA H. | Overall ExperienceI've never used U-Haul for storage before thought I've used their moving services a few times. My first experience storing my vehicle with them was fine except for a little mishap. When I went to collect my vehicle I stopped in the office, spoke with a gentleman that I was clearing out, he checked my account on his computer and told me I was all set. I asked if there was anything else I needed to do and he said no, I was good to go. I collected my vehicle and left. A few months later while I was overseas I noticed they had continued to charge my account for storage. I called them the next business day and couldn't get to speak with anyone. A man would pick up the phone and say something like: thanks for calling U-Haul, please hold. Over and over. I was on the phone for almost 30 minutes and kept getting the same behavior. Meanwhile this was an international call for me. I called back the next day 16 times and still they answer put me on hold and never come back. So I sent an email which no one responded to. A month later I came back to the States and went to their location. The gentleman that attended to me said my account was never closed bhe closed it and gave me the card for the manager and told me to call the next day. I called the manager, De-Anne, explained my situation. She put me on hold to check some things, came back and said they'd reverse the charges! I got my money back several days later. Overall, great service except for the money part and the horrible phone etiquette. I would recommend this location but know that the phone might not be the best way to contact them.

As we unloaded our truck and into our storage, they went above and beyond to offer us cold water to beat the scorching heat. They also checked on us every now and then to make sure we were okay, taking breaks and staying hydrated.
