Jewels A | Overall ExperienceStaff were very friendly and helpful. No issues when I moved my stuff out and canceled my storage unit. The only thing that would have been a nice thing for the company to offer would be pro rating so I didn’t have to pay for a full month since I took my stuff out on the 12th. Otherwise was quite happy with the facility and staff.

Louisa H | First ImpressionsCommunication was terrible When I first booked the unit, I was told that if I only needed a couple extra days in the month, I wouldn’t have to pay the whole month and they would waive those few days I was also told that if I was needing to move out in the middle of the month, I would only have to pay for half the month When I found out that I didn’t need the unit for all of December and only needed half the month, the staff acted like they had no idea what I was talking about Everything that they said when I signed up was denied I finally spoke to somebody named Ravi and he said he would “ make an exception” So I paid the amount that he calculated and he told me that I was paid in full and that I had until mid December After that, I received email after email saying that I had a balance owing and that if I didn’t pay it, they would restrict my access to the unit I also received multiple phone calls, saying the same I contacted Ravi again, and he said not to worry, there would be no issue Then, when I got to the storage unit to take my belongings out on the specified day, there was a note on it with an additional lock, saying that my access to the unit had been restricted despite him telling me multiple times, not to worry about it and that there wouldn’t be an issue I then had to go inside to talk to the staff while my movers were there and spent 20 minutes inside with them, sorting it all out while paying the mover by the hour It was extremely frustrating, not to mention embarrassing because now the movers looked at me like I was a person who doesn’t pay my bills It was unfortunate to see such disorganization and poor communication It made things very stressful when they didn’t have to be

Have to bring an extra person to stay behind and watch the goods while you are inside. I am sure there is little you can do about it but the street people trying your car doors ect are sure bad. Brian B | Overall ExperienceWorst experience. 0/ 5 stars. Unfortunately was here since 2019 -nov 2024. *Dealing with homeless moving in staying in units very close to mine. Still to this day they're using units, specially come these colder months. I understand its cold, and they need a place to stay, but this is a business and a storage facility. *Homeless sneak in when bay doors are open. Anyone can sneak in when bay doors are open! *Not safe. Ive seen 0 security after dark and during the day inside since 2019. I stopped going after office hours. I didnt feel safe after being approached by someone tweaking out on drugs asking me for a broom and mop one late evening. *There have been mulitple police incidences *Units are being broken into *Key cards were stolen and units were completely emptied *Units are fully open at the top, not secure, things got thrown into my unit including a mouse trap, which didn't surprise uhual office staff when mentioned *Moths flying around eating cardboard boxes/material as well as a recent spider infestation. (I had not added anything to my unit in very very long time) *My rate got hiked up a couple times for *cleaning purposes* and yet the place is disgusting, bathroom is gross, my unit was covered in a layer of thick dust, dead moths, and ceiling pieces that had fallen into it from a disintegrating ceiling. ***When the floors were cleaned, my unit flooded not once but 3x because of the floor washing machine. Some of my items were destroyed. Manager was *notified* promised to contact me back, but never did. The floods went into my unit up to 3ft and i couldn't lift up my door because it was so heavily waxed to the floor *Other units flooded as well, and items damaged from talking with other people *Finally moved out yesterday, November 24th /2024 with more homeless action inside the storage facility around my unit, and a homeless guy in the office demanding a black card for after hours saying *he lost his card* and needs to get in tonight after 7pm *I am beyond disgusted with the behavior of a storage facility like this. I paid a lot over the years to be able to rent here but instead take a loss because of the flooding and avoiding of management. The environment should feel safe and secure with active security guards at both bay doors/ entrances to the facility at all times and it should be clean to the fullest. Do better Uhual.
