Poor signage on satellite storage facility regarding it not being staffed. Needed to drive to a separate facility to rent a locker from here is cumbersome. Entering two codes when all other storage lockers just one keypad. The person entering my information was extra slow as well making this process longer and more drawn out then needed. Manager never got back me. Over all bad.

Correspondend to the questionair: 1. The facility in general is not feeling safe (staff came right to my door, not asking what's happening hit banging on the door for my response, knowingly I'm taking a rest); facility is well lit, other than my specific unit which has a flickering luminence, and staff only care for their perspective. 2. It is a 24 hours accessible storage, however, it was not even explained to me how the business is operating (causing myself inconveniecely triggered the alarm 3 times, and had to hid myself from 4am halfway working on my stuff and until 5:15am, I still bot knowingly triggered another alarm). Awful customer service/ explanation. 3. The office hours stated until 5pm, the staff is not available at 4:30pm; the first day i got the storage, when i purposely went back to the store to ask for the passcode (left it in the facility by mistake), employee claimed to call/text me after serving another customer, yet until 8pm, no follow up. I have to stayed another day in town to sort everything out. 4. Corresponding to first response (1.), staff knowingly i've been working all night, when I'm just taking a rest, came to my door banging, claimed I’m not well dressed (while i have my boxer underpant, shirt, not short; as i used it to cover the opened door). Been told the unit cannot be shut, if I’m using the storage or in the facility. However, me being less thoughtful, having the door left opened with obviously covered with my short and blanket, the staff came right in, not asking but banging right at my unit, and spilled the words on me. I was claimed naked (not dress appropriately). Also while I'm working throughout the 24 accessible unit, i was told i cannot sort out my stuff over the night. Wondering if thats contradicting why the 24 hours accessible storage is existing for. 5. The facility is not even clean, surrounded with all rat feaces. When asked about the maintainance or cleaning including replacing the box the employee was not willing to clean the unit.o

SEAN W | First ImpressionsWe were very disappointed when we went to remove all of our stuff out of the storage locker. There was a dead mouse and a lot of mouse poop in our unit. We definitely had to throw some stuff out. My husband said when he went there there was mice running across the unit above it on the ceiling there. For paying almost $2400 a year for storing our stuff there and then having to throw some stuff out because of mice getting into our unit that was pretty upsetting. And also our unit was right in the middle of the place so we never thought that would happen in there.
Cory Z | Overall ExperienceMoving my belongings out of storage on the 4th of May was a good experience. The young lady at the storage facility on Notre Dame in Winnipeg was friendly and helpful. Apparently having someone at that site is something the McPhillips U-Haul just started. A GOOD PLAN! They run the Notre Dame facility. However, storing my belongings for a year and a half ended up being a nightmare because I lost half of my belongings to mouse droppings and urine. I would not recommend storing stuff there to anyone. I will do a proper and lengthy review soon on U-Haul Canada site. I ’t imagine anyone else but U-Haul personal see these write ups.
