We weren't if we needed the truck one or 2 days for a one way rental. We prepaid for 2. We're told that if we used only 1 day that we would be credited for unused day and any unused prepaid mileage. They would not do either one. Renting end said we don't have the truck. Destination end said that they don't do any credits. Make your own decision where to rent if you have other options. The credit would have been less than $100, but the misinformation left a bad taste... The people on both ends were very nice. Uhaul "policies" apparently less so.

Debbie BI made my reservation online for a pickup on Monday afternoon for use on Tuesday. Even though Monday was a federal holiday, the online system allowed the reservation to be made. When I arrived to pick up the trailer, the store outlet was closed due to the holiday. I cam back in the morning and the local store operator said she had no record of the trailer reservation being made. This tells me there are several ways in which the online reservation system may be improved. (block out federal holidays, ensure system communication to the local retailers, etc.) Once I received the trailer, it served my purpose well.
