I originally reserved my 15fr truck at M&M Wheels on Lincoln Ave. I asked for a utility dolly as well, and was assured that I would have one. Yesterday June 5th I received a call from a costumer service rep, who was extremely nice and knowledgeable. She advised me that I would have to pick my truck up from different location over on Brookhurst st. I was told that reservation remained the same, just different pick-up location. When I got there this morning, I was told that they had no dolly, and I would have to drive way over to the Fullerton location for a dolly. Made my way over there and was told that I wasn’t charged for one on my reservation, and would have to pay for one there. AND, I would have to return the dolly by end of the day. Mind you, I had a one-way trip from Anaheim to Playa Del Rey! This entire experience set me back a few hours, and by the time I finished up it was near 7pm! The Fullerton location had closed already, AND….I was told by the gentleman over at the Brookhurst location (where I picked the truck up at) that someone from U-Haul would call me later to advise me where my drop-off location would be. I never received a call, so I called 809 Go-U-HAUL, and was told that it would be at least a 1 hour hold time! Fortunately, I looked around and happen to fine the gentleman nearby at 429 Manchester, and he made arrangements for me to drop off truck to his location…..AND he took the dolly as well, saving me an unnecessary trip back to Orange County! He was very pleasant!!! This entire ordeal, up until the end was a complete nightmare!!
