Patrick TThis isn't about the location so much as ALL the locations in Humboldt county. I ordered weeks in advance for a 20' truck. I was notified TWO DAYS before moving that NO WHERE nearby had a 20' available unless I wanted to drive to a town 2 hours away. They also had no 26' trucks to upgrade me to. I knew a 15' truck was NOT going to work, and we were doing a one-way move 6 hours away so it's not like we could just make multiple trips. They ended up offering me a 6x12' enclosed trailer as a free addition, which still isn't as much cubic foot space as the 20' truck but was all they said they could do. I was told to pick up the truck from Rio Dell nearby and then go to another location in Fortuna for the trailer. Annoying, but whatever. But then the next night, the night before the move, I got called AGAIN stating that the location that was already guaranteed to have my truck...didn't. And I would then now have to drive clear across town to Arcata to pick it up. The truck was clean but frankly, it sounded awful compared to trucks we've rented from UHaul in the past, which wasn't great when we were driving that distance.
