Absolutely terrible experience. I had a 4:30 appointment. The agent called me around noon saying that they closed at 5 and needed me to come at 3:30. I told him I could do that but I needed to keep the trailer until probably 4:30 the next day. He made it sound like no problem. I arrived at 3:30. There were several other people picking up trailers. He was rude and yelling at everyone, not assisting anyone. I hooked the trailer without his assistance and waited in my truck. He came around a few times, was rude and unhelpful, honestly sounded drunk or high. When he finally got around to processing my pickup, he told me I had to have it back by 3.30 the next day, not at all what I had agreed to on the phone. It was 3:58 when it was finally processed. He then told me I still had to have it back by 3:30 since my reservation was now 3:30. If it wasn’t so late in the day and I didn’t absolutely need the trailer I would have dropped it in the field and left for a better location. He knew I was in a pinch and took complete advantage, and that of my kindness for coming early so he could leave work early. Never again, and I will warn everyone I know to never go anywhere near this location. Honestly, if these are the types you do business with, I will avoid U-Haul all together.

Awful - truck was terrible. Check engine light on - had zero shocks. Mirrors were broken with regular driving.
Ellen HExtremely Disappointing Experience. Serious Concerns With Equipment and Service. The entire rental experience was extremely disappointing and far below the level of service I have experienced at other U-Haul locations. The pickup process alone took over an hour. The process at this location was completely different from other locations I have used. I was required to handle essentially the entire checkout process by phone, take pictures of the equipment, connect the trailer myself, and then wait approximately 40 additional minutes for an employee to inspect it before I was allowed to leave. The process was unnecessarily complicated, inefficient, and poorly organized. More concerning, however, was the condition of the trailer and the apparent lack of a proper safety inspection before it was rented to me. Approximately 20 miles after leaving the location, one of the trailer tires blew out on the interstate. This delayed my trip by approximately an hour and created an unnecessary and potentially dangerous situation while traveling at interstate speeds. Along, with having to wait on the shoulder of the interstate for repairs. Unfortunately, the problem happened again on my return trip. A second trailer tire blew out on the interstate. I was initially told that a service technician would arrive in approximately one hour. I was then contacted by the technician and informed that it would take an additional hour for him to reach me. By the time the repair was finally completed, the tire failure had delayed my return trip by approximately 3.5 hours. Having two separate tire blowouts on the same rental trailer during the same trip raises serious concerns about whether the trailer was properly inspected and maintained before it was rented. This isn't simply an inconvenience, it is a significant safety issue. I strongly recommend that U-Haul review the maintenance and inspection records for this trailer and determine why it was allowed to be rented in this condition. A customer should not have to worry about whether a rental trailer is mechanically safe enough to make it down the interstate. Between the unnecessarily long pickup process, the poor communication, the condition of the equipment, two tire failures, and the resulting delays, this was by far the worst rental experience I've ever had. At this point, I have very little confidence in this location and will most likely never rent from this location again. Based on this experience, I am also seriously reconsidering whether I will use U-Haul at all in the future. I expect U-Haul management to take this complaint seriously, investigate the condition and maintenance history of this trailer, and address how a customer could be sent onto the interstate with equipment that subsequently suffered two tire blowouts during the same rental.
Erlys CThe location for our pickup was changed from the original spot to the Cezanne Ave location. I did receive a text the evening before that showed the pickup location, but did not notice the location change. Because I had printed out the paperwork from the original booking a couple weeks prior, I wound up losing close to 2 hours because I went to the wrong location first and then was stuck behind lots of other people picking up at the Cezanne Ave location by the time I arrived. The original booking indicated I would receive a call the day before the rental, but I never did. Had U-Haul followed through on that phone call, I think I could have been spared a lot of aggravation on a very hot day with lots of lost time due to the location change that I didn't notice in the details of a text message. NOTHING IN THE TEXT MESSAGE IDENTIFIED THAT LOCATION WAS DIFFERENT THAN THE ORIGINAL BOOKING.
Rich GLocation was fine but computer issues, which apparently was not just at this location, made it take over an hour to pick up equipment.
