The rental operator even checked the hubs and the tire pressure.First rate operation.
The truck was empty of gas. Not warmed up. Filthy DIRTY!!! Barely started. Bad wipers. Cracked windshield that was hard to see out of. Headliner was falling down. We had to clean the storage area out before packing. It was the WORST truck we have rented and we have rented many trucks.
At every turn, it's “more moneyâ€... from insurance to the fuel kennel to mileage. Charge an honest price and don't up-sell or have hidden costs!
I was in an accident and Becca was unbelievably helpful. Give that girl a raise! She was empathetic yet got the job done. Becca-employee of the month and deserving of a big raise.
Include sandbags and a snow scraper
I rented a trailer and although it functioned well it was in rough shape. The outside was filthy dirty and the ramp on the back was warped (damaged) but again it worked well. Everything worked as expected but the trailer was in rough shape!
It was quick and easy. Phone technology is smart policy.
The young man that helped up was very nice. He hooked the trailer up and made sure everything was done correctly.
Make sure the equipment is at least somewhat clean before it gets picked up.
I reserved a 6 by 12 open trailer three weeks in advance. Went to pick it up it wasn't available.Ended up with 26 foot truck . The job had to get done for the client. Cost me $263.00 extra which I did not recoup. Not cool !
I never had to go inside the building. Customer services reps were waiting outside to receive the return and completed the transaction with hand held devices in less than 5 minutes. Brilliant!
I'm in the midst of sorting through over $200 of extra charges that traffic said i was not going to be charged for. No one can get a hold of the pickup location not even Erica from the Butte,MT U haul. And it's been days since i can get a straight answer from anyone.
We dropped off the truck at the correct time but they could not find it. We thought we could leave it with keys since it had our credit card. UHaul kept calling they could not locate truck and we left it sitting in they way. Someone would of had to move it.
Tires were almost bald and it compromised my ability to travel in winter conditions, delaying my trip and adding extra stress. Otherwise, good experience.
My original pick up was Livingston. I made reservations well over a week in advance. The day before my trip, they called to say that the truck I reserved was not available, and the auto transport was not available. Honestly, what's the point of making reservations, if the equipment isn't goi g to be reserved. To make matters worse, I had to pick up the auto transport in Missoula, haul it to Bozeman, only to find out that my truck wouldn't fit on the transport despite the Livingston dealer assuring me it would fit. This created a significant issue because now I did t have a way to get both the iHaul truck AND my truck back to Stevensville. Eventually the State uHaul ahem Kyle arranged to have one the the uHaul employees come to Bozeman the next day to deliver the Uhaul to Stevensville. It all worked out in the end, but it was a huge hassle, and it delayed my scheduled loading time in Livingston (guys who were schedule to help me load were just waiting for over an hour) and it delayed getting my things back to Stevensville by a day. Again, it all worked out, but the experience was very stressful, frustrating, and time consuming. The staff in Bozeman were awesome. My frustration is with the original agent in Livingston who made the reservation mistakes which led to all the difficulties.
Warn people who rent the smaller truck that there is not a ramp, especially when they rent an appliance dolly which was worthless. When we gave this advice to the employee who checked us out we were told we should've just used elbow grease to lift our refrigerator. We also were never told that the dolly and insurance charge were daily, so the higher bill was very unexpected. We were very disappointed with the customer service.
Bozeman received approximately 10 inches of the snow the day before I picked up my rental. The snow was not removed from the top of the truck or the trailer. This is a safety hazard for those following behind me. I cleaned them off myself before I departed for Boise.
We rented a pickup to move a desk, and the bed of the pickup was half filled with snow. Also the fuel indicated on the contract was not correct, I did not verify before we left so I paid the fuel charge, but the record was not correct.
This is busy Uhaul place with lots of equipment for the space they have. Better is signage for where to pull in and checkin would be good.
The guy who helped me, I wish I got his name was so service oriented. This is the first time I was really impressed with this location. And I was impressed.
Again, pulled up and there was someone right there to check me in. Very efficient!
It was a quick and pleasant experience.
U-HAUL employee helped with everything I needed! Very helpful!!
Cab of the truck had a very strong smell of gasoline which gave me a headache and I only drove 20 miles. I told your representative and he said he was aware. I was extremely disappointed to know u-haul would rent a truck in that condition
