Our truck broke down 45 minutes into the trip. You left us (ages60&65 yrs) on the side of the road for three hours, on the afternoon that the heat index was 102. After three hours, we were completely exhausted. That’s when you guys offered to pick up our truck and us to meet up with another truck so WE COULD MOVE ALL OF OUR BELONGINGS FROM ONE TRUCK TO ANOTHER. That was impossible! You did put us up in a hotel and we thank you. But because of this whole fiasco, each of us missed a day of work and came home COVERED with chigger bite and all the massive discomfort that caused us for 2weeks. The whole experience was unconscionable!!! EVERY detail has been documented. When we picked up the truck, we purchased back up insurance in case we did something to the truck that would cost you all money. It would have been nice if you had , at the very least covered the cost of missed work due to YOUR truck. U-haul, your equipment means nothing if you don’t take care of your customers!!!!
