This experience was better then the first! The first time was a nightmare, although I kept it for much longer then expected the guy at the counter actually told me that the flat rate of insurance wld be 30$ and when I returned the truck I was in shock over 400 in insurance was billed that's wrong, I was in a tight pickle as to why I used uhaul again! Every time I used it before it was great but because my ex husband douche bag told me he'd pay for it and then fucked off leaving me a bill that myfather actually had to pay for which I paid him back for! But in all regards this was a piss off considering I was told 30

Original pickup was supposed to be at TRU Country & Garden Depot. Despite reserving the truck for pickup at 12:30 the Tru Country location apparently told the previous renter that they could extend their rental past the 10:30 due time. After waiting until 1:30 for the truck to be returned and the Tru Country location stating they could do nothing about it, I'd just have to wait for the truck to appear, I contacted the U-Haul 1-800 contact center and after in excess of 30 minutes on hold and being bounced around to multiple agents I was routed to Bait Casters to get a truck even though that location showed no trucks available. The staff at Bait Casters was helpful, however the whole U-Haul rental experience was a fiasco and a waste of time. Specific actions needed include: Staff at locations need to be empowered to take actions other than just tell customers to "keep waiting for the truck" when their scheduled rental is unavailable. Discounts should be offered proactively, and the location should handle finding available vehicles at other locations The online system needs to be up-to-date so that when vehicles are available at a location they actually show available in the online system Call center wait times should be < 5 minutes. 30 minute wait times to get resolution are insulting as it clearly shows U-Haul doesn't care about wasting their customers time.

Trailer tire failed... large u-haul dealer in Oshawa on Tanton Rd would not assist with tire replacement. Trip delayed 2hr while repairs took place. L& B tire was on site within an hour of them receiving the call for repairs

The trailer was good but the trailer had dirt and dust in it. Whatever type of dust was in the trailer it made me, my wife and my mother sick. I was sick for two days from the dust in the trailer. Also the staff didn't want to show me how or help me hook up the trailer. When I finally got them to help they did it wrong. 1 km down the road I realised that the trailer was not actually connected properly.

Worst u-haul experience I have had and I own a moving company so I deal with a lot of truck companies. Self-Check out and express check out never works (which I understand is not this location's fault, just another irritating component in dealing with u-haul). When contact attempts were made to get in touch with u-haul and the owner of this location no one answered or called back. Very frustrating and lost a lot of money. WOULD NOT SUGGEST RENTING A TRUCK FROM HERE. I actually will never suggest anyone rents a u-haul.

The customer service was very friendly and helpful. The owners are a pleasure to deal with. I would reocmmend two improvements: 1. Supply electrical 7 to 4 pin adapters for rent for trailers. 2. When returning the trailer it took a long time to get my receipt due to either internet or server issues.

thanks, worked as expected

This store needs to be more organized when it comes to calling customers well in advance if they will be closed on a date or time when a customer is scheduled to pick up a truck. I definitely did not appreciate getting a phone call the day before I was supposed to pick the truck up saying the store was closed and I had to pick it up before they closed. The woman was kind enough to stay a few minutes after they closed so that we could make it in time, but they should have contacted me much sooner. The service was great when I was there, but this definitely should not have happened! Especially when I booked the truck well in advance. This may be an error on uhauls end, either way there needs to be more communication between the vendor and uhaul.

I was asked to make sure that I returned the van clean. Sorry but I don't clean rental vehicles that smell like live stock poop.

The trailer came off the hitch shortly after leaving the site. (It was put on by a staff person.) There will always be some operator error, but I believe that the design of the connector can and should be such that thinking that you have it on correctly when it is not should be impossible. Your trailers are by definition being used by people who are unfamiliar with the equipment. Change the design to have a last step that only can be accomplished if the tongue is completely on the ball of the hitch.

I rented an 8x12 enclosed trailer and the looped bracket on the bottom corner of the trailer snapped inside, causing my strapped motorcycle to fall down inside the trailer and caused damage to the bike. I will be making a claim as I opted for the $8 SafeTow coverage.
