I have been a U-Haul customer in the past and have consistently had positive experiences, which made this incident particularly disappointing. Upon arriving at my scheduled pickup time, the U-Haul representative was not present. One of the mechanics attempted to contact him but received no answer. A few minutes later, another mechanic managed to reach him and was informed that he would arrive in approximately 10 minutes. Because I was on a tight schedule, I contacted U-Haul customer service to locate an alternative pickup site. I was redirected to the location listed above, where staff were available, professional, and very helpful. Nonetheless, the initial delay created a significant inconvenience for me. Additionally, the customer service representative stated that I would be given a credit for the inconvenience; however, no such credit was applied to my rental. This experience caused unnecessary stress and could have been avoided with better communication and more consistent customer service. I have always expected—and previously received—the professionalism and reliability that U-Haul is known for, but unfortunately, those standards were not met during this interaction. I respectfully request that U-Haul review this incident and take appropriate steps to prevent similar issues in the future. I would also appreciate any follow-up regarding my concerns, as well as consideration for the inconvenience I experienced. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter. I value U-Haul’s services and hope to continue using your company in the future, but I believe this issue warrants attention to ensure a better experience for all customers. Sincerely, Wade Blackford
