I was told to keep track of my miles since the gas tank was not full when I rented the truck. I drove 7 miles with the truck and they charged me 11 dollars for gas. The estimate online for the 6 hour use of the truck was bit over 50 dollars. I returned the truck 1 1/2 hours early and hadn’t taken the packing blankets out of the plastic covering. When I got to the store the charge changed to over $100. By the time I didn’t have a choice since I needed the truck to move my daughter. I don’t appreciate “bait and Switch” tactics and will not recommend this U-Haul site to anyone. Let the buyer beware.
John HThey gave us a truck where the driver door wouldn’t close all the way and would open at any moment on its own. The brakes weren’t working properly - the truck would break on its own sometimes and when you actually went to use the breaks, the truck wouldn’t break fully and instead, sounded like it was speeding up. Horrible
