the last rent of a cargo van i received , the passanger seat belt was broken. the pickup was at 6am i could not ask for a replacement van.

Most of the vehicles at this U-Haul location are in very poor condition. The dashboard warning lights are often on, including low tire pressure and “Service Stability” warnings. Even when I report these issues, I am told that there is no problem. Additionally, the interiors of the vehicles are consistently very dirty. I reported this as well and was told it was “not an issue” and that I could return the vehicle as is. However, when I return the truck in the same condition, I am then charged a $25 cleaning fee for a dirty interior. Sometimes the vehicles do not even have windshield washer fluid, which is a basic safety requirement. This situation is contradictory and unfair to customers.
