Initially, we had booked at a different location. And we’re unable to pick up our truck here because they did not have our reservation and it was not a 24 seven service like it was indicated. We initially called U-Haul for help and the customer service representative was extremely rude and dismissive. We called back and had a much better experience with someone in training named Bernice. She was lovely. And helped us out and got us to another location close by to obtain our truck. However, a 730 pick up turned into a 930 pick up and we lost two hours of our move time due to. Lack of communication at the first location. I even stopped by two days before to confirm and make sure things were all set to go at the first location and still we were unable to pick up our truck and upon calling U-Haul the first time for help the representative was unhelpful

This location itself is fine. The experience over the last 3 weeks is beyond subpar. Including having customer service reps tells me nearly daily that the manager would phone me within 3 days. Then the manager tells me it’s was his first awareness of all my complaints on the day before my move and tries to act like doing what I originally booked in the first place is doing me a favor. Then the truck had minimal gas which, because we couldn’t make it to the first location, we over estimated gas and paid about $75 extra into the trucks gas. Never again. Rude reps. Disappearing management. Sent on goose chases all over their phone system (did you know the district manager for Oshawa ON is in Wisconsin…. And the regional manager doesn’t answer his phone according to the 20+ calls I made to the number provided)

sangaran sI gave clear instructions about my requirement, as my spouse already had a U-Haul account, and the U-Haul contact still went ahead to use my details. Now, my spouse is unable to link the transaction to his UHaul account. In addition, we were unable to adjust the side view mirror to see the back, which made driving the 10ft truck difficult
