Have friendlier people working at the front desk. This is my 2nd U-Haul I went to and they where not friendly not even a good morning. I had to say good morning. The older lady was much more friendlier when I brought the truck back.

I was told a 17 ft.would move a 3 bedroom apt.!!!IT DOES NOT!!!!!!.so i had to make 2 trips in the truck.. a trip that i should not have, because i was told 17 ft would work, because they didnt have a 20 ft. MORE MILES MORE MONEY... that i dont have. And then was charged 45$ for a 1/4 gas..THIS IS GAUGING AT ITS BEST!!!! I have used yall 5 times in the last 2 years. I WILL NOT EVER USE U-HAUL AGAIN!!!!R.Tanner

That’s pedometer on the truck was running too fast. From my daughters house to my house is exactly 2 1/2 miles. The mileage on the truck was over 3 miles. I don’t believe we went more than 8 miles total. The speedometer read 11 miles.

Customer service was not great especially after being rerouted because of a closed store. Additionally, the agent never walked out to the vehicle or moved it up front. I had to move the truck from a cramped spot on my own.

Asked if we needed help hooking up trailer; why yes we do.Never been asked if I needed help, usually hooked up for me. Statement that there were no men around to help (San Angelo location: 110 lb. girl hooked it up!) Needed adapter to hook up lights, they do not sell them! They found a place WE could go buy one; could not unhook the trailer; too heavy, no jack to assist!! Finally offered to take us since they were going to the bank, dropped my daughter at the office instead of at the back of location where we were ( it was freezing and she had to walk back to the trailer!). The old "no man in the building" just doesn't work for me, I am from Texas. I have several rental spaces with U-Haul and always rent trailers or trucks from U-Haul and have never experienced such a lack of customer service.

It took us a while to find the unit but persistence paid off. The ladies in the office were great to work with. I had a very good experience.

Make sure the truck are in good working order before renting. Our truck had more than one water leak in the box as well as in the cab. We had to wait for hours for the rain to stop as the water was puddling in the floor of the box. When we finally succeeded in getting it loaded as we were pulling out of the driveway water rushed down the inside of the windshield and onto the passenger side dash. There was a bubble of water within the headliner in the center. This is completely unacceptable and I should not have been charged anything for the use of this vehicle.

The mileage out was off by 1.5 miles. The contact showed 3/4 tank of gas and it was barely above 1/2. When I pointed this out to the young lady behind the desk she tried to tell me it was the way the truck was parked. I moved the truck to flat area and I was correct. I have pics of the dash on leaving and returning. I always liked this location and have rented several times from there but not anymore. The older lady who works there is pleasent but the young one is a smart ass. I am sure this review will be ignored or trashed and I will not hear back from anyone. The ball is in your court to prove me wrong.

Everyone I dealt with was courteous and professional. My only complaint is the .99/mile charge that I had to pay? I feel like that is a little excessive!

I had a poor experience with renting a trailer from Uhaul. First, Uhaul changed my pick up location without informing me. This delayed me in picking up my trailer and getting a late start at moving. Then two days after I returned my trailer (which I returned 3 hours early to days earlier) I got a call asking when I was planning on returning the trailer that I still have out for rental. I then informed them that I had already returned it to the determined location. I feel like there was a MAJOR lack of communication/operations on Uhauls part that made my experience less that satisfactory.

This location and the staff were excellent!! The truck itself was another story.... Truck leaked during the rain storm and water was pouring inside cab.

Fabulous customer service. I felt welcomed. I definitely would recommend my friends who live in the Dallas area to check there first for storage as well.
