I would recommend you all to everyone the people who I rented it from were excellent. They went out of their way to help me get everything right I would recommend them to the world because they were great. U-Haul has been the most great experience and I wouldn’t not recommend you to everyone.

joe cI am writing a scathing review concerning a satisfactory experience with UHaul customer service. Story: on a Wednesday in Fallbrook, CA, I picked up a 15’ rental from Moe’s no issues. I had to jump start it twice on Thursday and on Friday it couldn’t accelerate past 1500 rpm. I worked with roadside assistance to leave it and pursue alternatives. I worked with Moe’s to find a local alternative, which we did. However, when I arrived there an hour after opening, the location was still closed. I called customer service who directed me to an alternate location in Oceanside, advised me I would be given the in town rate (dropping it off in Fallbrook) and a $50 discount. Fast forward to the end of the move after the vehicle was dropped off in Fallbrook. I received a call from the Oceanside location which rented me the truck asking me where it was. I related the story to them. They said they had nothing in the notes and that they were charging me $400 for failure to drop off at their location and an additional charge for the vehicle that required roadside assistance because they had nothing notes that showed it had been turned in. Ascertaining that these charges were to be applied took 30 mins of valuable time with customer service. The fact that there were no notes, I was given a lemon, and I had to sort things out with customer service - who had no answers - is completely unsatisfactory.
