When I rented the truck, the associate stated the truck had 5/8 full fuel tank. It had hardly any gas (34 miles to E). The associate told me to take a picture before I left of the fuel which was good advice. I wasn't told that if the truck was brough back with less than a 1/4 tank that I would be charged $30. It's in the fine print but that is something that should be disclosed up front. Otherwise, it looks a bit underhanded. The truck did come back with a quarter tank and that is what is marked on the receipt. The fine print says LESS than a quarter tank will incur the charge. I'm not going to haggle with you over $30 but I also won't be bringing you any more business, so that may be expensive $30 that you charged me today. I also don't care for my driver's license photos being taken with a personal cell phone.

How U-Haul Reviews WorkI was overcharged twice. I did get refunded the first time. I called back to make the payment. I was quoted $100.89 and even have the receipt for that amount. 2 hours later without my authorization I was charged an additional $23. The customer service at that location is horrible. The two women there are rude and make snide remarks. I should have believed the reviews I saw.
