We reserved dollies that were not available when we picked up the truck. That was bad. And the place didn't open until 10 am. That's kinda late for starting moving day.
Gerald AI never agreed to the “Safe Move” charge. I think that one is definitely crooked. The other thing that surprised me was that I was charged for mileage. If that’s the case I shouldn’t have to return fuel tank as same level as when I picked it up. I even returned the vehicle within 90 minutes. VERY disappointed with UHaul U-Haul is not the place to rent. Home Depot is the better choice
MIKE FThis location charged me over $1200 more than I was quoted. I didn't know until I checked my bank account and saw the charges!! It took over a week to get the money back! That money was for our move to Texas because our mom has cancer and is dying! We had to borrow money from her to just get here to Texas!! The truck was old and didn't work very well. Parts were glued together and you could see the glue. The truck had enough gas for me to get to the gas station down the street. The check engine light came on during the second day of travel. I was going under the speed limit because I was towing a trailer for Uhaul. Had a blowout tire on the trailer the first night!! I was so ready to get the truck back and not have to worry about having to be stranded on the road for almost 4 hours! At least it was at night as my family was in the car behind me with all of our pets! Uhaul had me drive the truck with the check engine light on for days! Not sure if I will ever use this company again!!
