How U-Haul Reviews WorkThe clerk did not know the uhual process. I had to call customer service to get them to rent me the truck even though I had a reservation. I get the truck and boom the check engine light comes on. Luckily I was near a penske location who got me into a safe reliable truck. DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION!
JEROME MMy first experience was not a smooth one. I was not told when I was offered the free upgrade that the new location was virtual. I got there at my pick up time of 7:30am and realized I had to do a whole online check out process. Then the at the end, I kept getting an error over and over again saying it couldn't find my equipment. The gas station clerk did not show up for their shift so another girl got called in from across town and she didn't know what the hell was going on or how to process a uhaul check out. After a few attempts with one phone number from one of the emails, which was a dud btw, I finally found a number that reached someone. She told me that the previous customer did not check in the truck properly so that's why it wasn't completing my check out. The new clerk finally got ahold of someone to help check me out the key. This whole dobacle took about an hour. I would suggest that due to the inconsistency of staff, using convenient store clerks is not a very reliable way to serve your customers to your standards. I will now and forever use an actual Uhaul location to deal with someone qualified. P.S. Nothing against the clerk, she was awesome and did what she could to help. But come on, really?
Priscilla SThis location is a convenient store and is a self service. The store cleark is not familiar with uhaul return.
Francisco HTruck took a full week to be checked in. Issue after issue. I had to reach out to the customer service team 5 separate times. People were nice and tried to help but it was stressful.
