Tongi PHorrible and Discriminatory Experience I had an absolutely horrible experience at this U-Haul location from start to finish. The customer service I received was rude, dismissive, and extremely unprofessional. I was charged for items/equipment that were already inside the truck even though I did not request or add those items to my reservation. When I asked for clarification about my bill and the additional charges, the employee could not provide me with a clear explanation. Instead of assisting me, he became rude and told me that I could go rent from another U-Haul location simply because I questioned the charges. What was especially disturbing was the noticeable difference in treatment. I am African American, and I personally observed this employee provide courteous, respectful, and exceptional service to customers who were not African American, while I was treated rudely and dismissively for asking reasonable questions about my bill. Based on what I personally experienced and witnessed, I felt that I was being discriminated against and treated differently because of my race. No customer should be made to feel unwelcome or told to take their business elsewhere simply for asking for an explanation of charges. I expected professionalism, transparency, and equal treatment from U-Haul, and I received none of those things. I would not recommend this location, and I will be escalating my experience to U-Haul corporate because the billing practices and the treatment I received need to be addressed.
