I don't believe the location was the problem but U-Haul as a company. I had ordered 2 26 foot trucks and was told they would be at 2 different locations. I ordered several weeks in advance. A week out from our move I got a call from a U-Haul Rep stating that both of my trucks had been moved to the C street location. On the day of our move, I went to the C street location and they only had 1 of our 26 foot trucks. We were at this location for an hour and a half and U-Haul could not locate us the other truck. I offered my reservation numbers and the worker at C street said that she had it all in front of her but that UHaul didn't have the other truck. Finally we were give a 20ft and 15 ft truck in addition to our 26 ft truck. If we had not had a 3rd driver we would have had major issues. Luckily we were not paying movers to be at our property to load the trucks or else we would have owed them an hour and a half worth of labor to just stand around while we dealt with UHaul. As a Real 'Estate Agent I would never recommend UHaul to anyone who had limited drivers or was going out of state in case this same thing happened again. Finally, around 8PM the night of our move, we got a call from the F street location where our 2nd reservation had originally been asking if we were going to pick up our truck. I told her what had occurred and she again repeated that UHaul not the specific locations were responsible for the locations and moving trucks around and that they were terrible at letting the specific locations know. I am very unsatisfied with my experience.

No on from the rental agency came out to make sure i took the correct trailer nor test the plug in that runs the lights, blinkers and brake lights. Seems a little concerning to me that they may allow someone who doesn't have the right size ball on their hitch or even have the ability to plug in the trailer lights could get a trailer there and be driving on our streets and highways as a danger to others. The gal who helped me was very nice and friendly though.

DO NOT GO HERE. I also rented a storage space from Ruth, in addition to the U-Haul trailer. After a long day of moving I came back to the facility to unload and turn in the trailer and the storage unit was padlocked. I called Ruth and she was very confused and unorganized. My option was to wait an undetermined amount of time for her to either find a way up there or contact someone else to come quicker and find a possible open unit. I reminded her, as we had previously discussed, that after unloading I had a 5 hour drive and it was getting late. I told her I preferred to just get on the road and turn the trailer in there. She agreed and apologized for her mistakes. We repeated this arrangement three times. Next day corporate U-Haul calls and says I have to pay an enormous fee for not returning it same day/same location, and there’s nothing they can do. I called Ruth, who said she’d call me back and didn’t. I paid $280 vs $30. DO NOT GO HERE.

I appreciated your friendly and prompt service. Everything went as discussed.

Maybe you should actually be there when I come to pick up a truck

We originally rented a truck and car tow. We realized the truck was not big enough that we would need a cargo trailer instead of the car dolly. This was back on 11/18. As of today we still have not received credit for the car tow. I have made several phone calls and text with no reply. They obviously don't care about customers.

The person who helped was too worried about talking with her friend and not at all concerned about me or my rental. So much so that she didn’t even realize the tow dolly she gave us for the car was broken. Which caused a delay in our move since we had to stop at another U-Haul along the way for them to tell he we are so lucky nothing happened to our car. Setting us back a few hours while we had to hook up a new one.

Hi, only thing to say was, I live near a bunch of uhaul dealers. They are blocks away. Was disappointed to have to pick up across town. Other than that, all was great. Thanks. Angie.

the store it wise location was excellent and save my reservation. The 1800 line and traffic was a nightmare and had reassigned my truck 2-3 times to various locations. They did not email or message me about location changes and the agent who took my call was a dick. he transferred me to traffic where I was on hold for 15 minutes. Because my phone battery was almost dead I called Ruth at Store it wise out of desperation and she saved the day. I will never use Uhaul without going through northview store-it-wise

Picked up equipment had to be swept out. Was told I would be charged 4.00 a galion for gas if returned not on full . The truck had 3/4 of a tank of gas at time of rental and this would have been gas stolen from myself but I took pictures and argued with management before renting unit. Still have pictures because I don't trust you guys anymore after attempting to get free gas from me. Some poor cowboy will eventually bend over and get ripped cause he took your word that the tank is full. Have a nice day.

Great service and location

The truck had been swept clean but there were a number of places where a wet mop would have been helpful, though it didn't impact our move. The passenger side mirror was not able to be adjusted -- which was fine until there was considerable traffic and I had to lean down to see all the traffic behind the first vehicle.

No big deal -- they forgot to put the blankets that we reserved on the truck and on the paperwork, so we had to wait for the representative to re-enter all the information and pay for them separately.

The truck was leaking oil and we had oil all over our driveway.

The location was fine, the lady who worked there was very knowledgeable, friendly and polite. The experience overall was less than great. I called my preferred location the day before my reservation because I had not yet heard anything. He said my location was across town now, and I should have been notified. I was not, by phone or email. He said he would call the other location and see if they would transfer the truck over and call me back and let me know, and I never heard from him again. So I called the other location and got it all figured out, but I'd say the whole experience was less than satisfactory.

Clean the windows, have more than one young, new girl on a Sat morn., and someone to hook up the car hauler would have been really nice..

There was a little confusion with the after hours pick up process but in the end I had the truck I needed.
