We requested an appliance dolly and furniture pads to help with our move, and neither item was provided for us. We were billed for the items even though we never received them. We were also billed double what we should have been. We had the rental for less than 12 hours (we requested it for 12 hours) and we were billed for two days of truck usage and two days of appliance dolly and furniture pads. In addition, drop off was very difficult at this site because the parking lot had very little space in it at the time of our return. Trying to park a 26’ moving van in a full parking lot is very difficult. We were extremely careful making sure it was parked safely, but the parking process took a lot longer than expected due to the lot being full.

Nicolas RLocation does not answer phone ever. I rented a dolly and blankets - there was none in the truck and it was before hours so I had no one to talk to. Found out later there were none available to be rented. Was not notified about this and it was on my bill. Returned truck and was charged double the mileage (65 miles). I was only local for the day and only drove 35 miles max. This was not corrected so I was billed for it. The app did not work for photos. The whole process was terrible and I am completely disappointed with the entire experience plus I got ripped off for $30 for mileage I did not drive.
joyce aMy review is my overall UHaul experience. My reservation was bounced around and I finally found a location closer to me. However, I loaded the app and was told to follow the directions on opening up the lock box. When I arrived to do so, I got a message to call U-Haul. When I did they said my truck might not be ready at this location and again tried to bounce me to another location, or stay and wait ( a hour) for the current store to open. I don’t understand how this could happen it’s a 15’ truck to get bounced around so much. Next time I need a rental, I think I will shop around.
Anthony BThe truck was ready, but no other support was available . I ordered an appliance dolly and a dozen furniture blankets with my order 3 days in advance. They did not have any on-site. Did not make any attempt to assist me with finding a location where I might get them. And in fact, told me, I would probably just need to do without them. When he redid my order to remove the appliance dolly and the blankets, he changed it from a one-way order to a drop off back at his own location. Which is not what I had asked for.
