pick up was a mess...will find another place to rent truck.
Leon RArrived at agreed upon time. Location closed up tight. I was on a time deadline. Called number and a nice gentleman answered and advised someone was sick so he would be headed there. He arrived about 30 minutes after I was needing to leave. He was super nice and friendly I just think if someone was sick they could have had a backup plan in place since I was not the only person waiting for them at 10am.
Michael BJose at J&R Towing did a great job fighting through U Hauls technology issues and getting us sent out in a 10 ft rental truck in excellent condition. A+ to J&R Towing! We were originally sent to U-Haul at Westway at 2460 S Seneca St in Wichita, KS. The truck they sent us out in had a stripped out window crank with the window rolled down 1/4" with no way to roll it back up. Plus, it was pretty dirty as well despite having 1000 less miles that the truck we ended up with. They expected me to drive this truck 950 miles to Pensacola FL! Do they do any maintenance on their vehicles U-Haul on S. Seneca in Wichita gets an F!
William TMy truck was dropped of 2 days early. I called the day after returning the truck the man didnt even know we returned the truck when he claimed he was at the facility all day when no one was there at 1130am when the truck was dropped off. I called the day my truck was to be returned and noticed it says the truck was over due to the main uhaul number. Spoke to a nice man who put notes on my contact saying my truck was returned and then today 04/21/26 I got a notification I was being charged for an extra day. I had to call the main uhaul number again spoke to a nice lady explained my story and she gave me a refund. I would not recommend this J & R towing for anything!!!!
