I recently rented a U-Haul from this location, and while everything ultimately worked out, my experience was far from ideal. The area where the business is located is in a rough part of town, which made me feel uncomfortable right from the start. The employee who assisted me was not professional and came off as somewhat unsettling. He appeared to be fidgeting a lot, which made me wonder if he was sober. He did manage to get me the truck I needed, though the whole thing was weird. On the positive side, the truck worked fine, and I didn’t encounter any issues with the actual rental equipment. However, the overall experience was uncomfortable enough that I would hesitate to return to this location in the future.
Reginald MThey ripped me off $39.00 for a fuel charge. I contacted U-Haul and sent my gas receipt to them. They said they approved my refund but haven’t refunded me the money. What can they do they ask? Stop ripping people off and when you say you will refund.. to actually refund the money. Because of crappy customer service from the renter and U-Haul I will never use U-Haul again.
