The lights were left on overnight, so the battery was dead in the U-Haul truck. We had to jump start it with my vehicle to get the engine started. Everything was OK after that. We were charged for a furniture dolly we did not order and did not use. The zip tie was still intact when we returned the truck, but we were still charged.Thomas L.

Love the online preregistration. Love the ease of picking up/dropping off the vehicle. The van interior was clean and was in overall good repair. 2 issues: 1. The windshield was covered in 4â€ snow and very thick ice. It had snowed 2 days prior to my rental day. I didn't think I would need an ice scraper so didn't bring one with me. I had to let the van run for over 25 minutes to get the ice to melt and free up the windshield wipers. This decreased my overall rental time and used up gas needlessly. I feel the snow/ice should have been cleared by an employee, not the customer. 2. It would be nice to give the renter a heads up on what type of gas the vehicle requires. I pulled up to a gas station near the rental place, just to learn that the van uses E85 gasoline which is NOT sold at every gas station. I proceeded to drive an additional 15 miles in search of E85 gasoline, therefore paying for extra miles and extra gasoline, again.Karen H.
I was required to pull the trailer out of a pile of snow, hook it up myself and then realized the previous renter left a lock and straps inside. The team in Huntley were nice but i was upset for the inconvenience this all caused. Could have been a better experience.Brian H.
I was told the truck was wiped down and disinfected. Got in there and there were food crumbs all over the dashboard and floor. The wiper blade was completely gone on the passenger side. Made driving very difficult.DANIEL A.
We spent a half hour of our rental time cleaning snow and chipping ice off of the vehicle. We expected that the vehicle would be ready when we rented it. The hours on a Saturday are very short - 10 am to 2 pm. Seems unreasonablle for a rental facility.Lillian M.

Sell down to people moving to San Francisco not up. By that I mean smaller the vehicle the easier it is to move here. If i had the 15 footer I would have killed someone with it. Getting used to driving the Frisco streets is hard enough let alone maneuvering a box truck. The vans u-haul offer would be excellent for this if they could work out a sort of pace bus situation except the driver drops off the van to each u-haul along the way and switched out or has it checked up at the u-hauls as it goes across country. Discounts should be offered for faster returns like the vans and their 20$ hour return, but for the box trucks maybe a 3 day return feature.Matt A.

Had great experience with the vehicle, pickup and drop off of equipment, be sure to take photos of equipment and imperfections, as well as milage I was charge for 60 miles that weren't even me and could prove through photos, I messaged my complaint to them and days later still no response, maybe if this is fixed my review will change.Kevin P.

I tried to use your app to pick up the truck. It would not let me upload photos to it. I was there for over 45 minutes trying to get it to work. It would not. Have someone at the check in point who knows the correct address, an indication of where they are located in town, is able to unhook the trailer and can back it up into position. We had to have a customer unhook the trailer. I was suppose to get an email receipt for the return and have not gotten it. Please hire someone who can handle the job.richard A.
