We were late to pick up because I split above my lip taking our bed apart, I called saying I was going to be late, and appreciate the allowance. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to use the truck because there was a huge splatter of something brown on the right wall near the door. My boyfriend has contamination OCD (germaphobe). He immediately refused to use and so I brought the keys back in and we left. I didn’t see the email about taking a picture until we were already gone. Improvement for next time…. Maybe clean the inside of the back of your trucks.
Rebekah CPros: David Silva Was Excellent Detail Oriented with Information & Experienced with Computer contract as well as itemization questions. Cons: The Rental Service Was over $100.00 day. My Phone was Hacked With a Plug in cord set up in office. They listened to and Commented on my calls in detail when I needed to make a Bank Transfer to cover Excessive charges. Also asked for another Card to access all accounts to ensure multiple drafts were covered. Final charges were 870.00 for 2 contracts. 63.02 —4/10 4pm 307.84 — 4/14 3 days total $370.86 184.74 —4/14 185.05 143.38 total $513.17 TOTAL $ 884.03 Excessive Overcharging Should have been weekly rate for both contracts. As reasonable for consideration to submit for reimbursement to Insurance..

John RThis is for this particular rental experience only. I’ve rented from the Johnston location before, and it was as would’ve been expected. This time the rental truck broke down. Within a few minutes of leaving the lot as soon as I got on the highway the battery light came on. Then a few minutes later the check engine light. Then several error messages came up on the dashboard - Engine Hot AC Off, Engine power reduced,I was nearing a rest stop and started to pull over and I had no brakes or steering.on the highway. It put me in a very dangerous situation. I was able to maneuver the truck to the parking lot to safety. I never got contacted from anyone, which I would’ve expected considering the dangerous situation. The customer service was very helpful and got me a replacement at another location. The truck that I picked up in Pawtucket was having issues with the tire monitoring system. I called in to customer service and they didn’t feel as if it was something I needed to worry about but said they would note the account. The agents thought the same thing when I dropped it off. Considering the experience with the first truck I was concerned that I would have an issue with this truck too. Considering the severity of the issues I had I’m very disappointed that nobody from U-Haul ever followed up with me. I lost several hours of my day dealing with these issues and having to go get a replacement, which the tow truck driver was kind enough to bring me to the other U-Haul location for the replacement truck. Based on this experience, I feel like I should get my money back.
