We dropped off the truck on Sunday. September 27, 2023 at around 11am dropping the keys in the drop box. When calling in to confirm, I was told the status showed the truck was never checked in. In speaking with Brittany from customer service, she placed me on hold after I informed her of what was happening; she called the drop off location to ask if the truck was there and they did confirm it was. It seemed however the workers at the Kinsale location did not check the truck in, this was now Tuesday, September 29, 2023. We were originally charged having a receipt for $500 plus when we picked up the truck. We were again charged an additional $400 plus on Friday, September 30. I have used Uhaul several times in the past and have never had any issue until now
