Will never tent a trailer from you again. You say the trailer is 6 feet wide but it's not. There is a lip on the gate that makes it way smaller. You are misleading. Complete waste of time and money!!! Stop advertising as a 6 foot trailer!! Would like a refund as I was not able to use the trailer!!TIMOTHY A.

Found out half way into trip that windshield washer reservoir was empty and that wiper blade were trash. Had to stop at a truck stop and buy new blades and washer fluid.RICHARD B.
Made reservations online at U-Haul Moving & Storage of Lakeland, 2525 US 98 N. Arrived early and trailer was not available. Was told to come back at 9:15. I was running late and got back shortly after 10. Was told my trailer did not come back in and I would have to drive to another location. This Kathleen location was excellent and the young lady helping me was wonderful. However just previous to this location,I was supposed to pick up my trailer rental at another location on south Florida avenue in Lakeland. I submitted everything on line and paid for it on line. The actual location printed out the contract when I arrived to pick up the trailer. However there was no trailer available on site. I think u-haul needs to better their on site location inventory computer system. It took me another hour to find and drive to the new pick up location.Robert T.

I rented a pick up truck and an appliance dolly. U haul charged me $100 for not returning an utility dolly and $7 to rent it. I did not rent the utility dolly only the appliance dolly. I will not use U haul again. I tried to call to straighten this over charge out, but was placed on hold for hours. I will use your competition from now on.SHIRLEY R.

The gas gauge was a smidge in front on the 3/4, and the paperwork appeared to be exactly on 3/4. I figured no big deal ill just make sure to return it on the 3/4 and l did. The guy checking me in said i checked it out on 7/8. 7/8? Make clearer 7/8 vs 3/4 on the gas gauge & paperwork. On the paperwork it looked just like 3/4 tank also, but l know exactly where the gas gauge was when l left in the truck, just a smidge below 3/4. I won't be using this location again. Charge me $15 after I'd already put in more gas than was there to begin with.FRENCES B.

I made my reservation and I specifically said the time I was returning the vehicle was at 8pm. It was never mention to me that I needed to leave the vehicle outside of the gate, so I try contacting customer service and the person who assisted me did not know that all I needed to do was to just leave the vehicle outside the gate and put the keys in the lock box. I was talking with here for more than 30 minutes and all she kept saying was sorry for the inconvenience. I try to come up with solutions since I was not able to take the vehicle with me she was not understanding of my situation. I mention to her that there was a parking space in front of the gate and asked her if it was okay to leave the vehicle there all she said was Uhaul is not responsible if the van gets towed. I finally decided to just give up and take the van home which I didn't have space since I live in a small complex. The next morning when I arrive at the location the person who assured me said that I was supposed to leave the vehicle in the same space I had told the customer service representative before. It's incredibly that if she works for Uhaul she did not know the proper procedure. I even suggested that if I needed to take it to another location I would and she was not listening to what I was saying. Very unprofessional will never be using Uhaul again since it was so poor customer service.Leynisha A.

I was charged $40 extra for 30 additional minutes after I was told I could keep it up until 6pm. I was also charged twice for the dolly when I only rented one. I will be calling to discuss my bill. This was not the locations fault but it was uhaul corporate. I will not use uhaul again and my family and friends were extremely unhappy with the situation.Haley S.

Apparently a renter before ,got a great discount as the miles were read off trip 1 on the electronic odometer rather than the actual mileage located below on the instrument cluster. I always reset the trip odometer before taking off when I rent a vehicle so I know how many miles I'm accumulating. I drove 109 miles However trip 1 showed 2414 miles when I reset it. During check out the odometer read 2558 miles which would mean I started with 2449 miles on the odometer, Not the 2414 shown on Trip1. A difference of 35 miles/ 24.15 plus tax fees exc. I personally don't care about the money. What pissed me off was the fact that rather than own up to making a mistake during the last check in.They flat out accused me of driving down the road and then resetting the trip 1 odometer. We're talking $30.00 tops ,it's pocket change. I have better things to do than argue about petty cash. While I was upset at this point they informed me that it's .99 cents a mile. My contract say .69 cents..... Then they proceeded to tell me that it was Saturday and Sunday rates.... Friday through Monday Mind you I rented this this 4days. How in the world could you distinguish What days I drove any numbers of miles. I've never been treated like a smuck! But these guys had no problem doing so. I would highly recommend removing Uhaul brand from this location as it makes for a bad business. What really crazy about this , The truck was filthy! So much that I ran it trough a car wash. I filled the tank as much as possible at the closest fuel station. Even give them the 28+ dollar receipt . Guess what? The gas at $2.159 and 109 miles that I actually drove match up at 12-13 miles per gallon just like the instrument panel said I was getting. Imagine that! What are the chances!SHAWN C.
