I rented a truck from this location on July 3, and unfortunately the experience was extremely disappointing from beginning to end. The pickup process was frustrating. The location was advertised as being open, but when I arrived it was closed. As a result, I had to drive to a different U-Haul location just to pick up the moving blankets I had reserved. The truck itself also had several significant maintenance issues. The air conditioning did not work at all, which made driving in the July heat very uncomfortable. The passenger-side windshield wiper was completely missing, and someone had simply wrapped tape around the exposed metal arm to keep it from scratching the windshield. The Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) also indicated that a tire had low pressure. When I asked an employee at the second location about it, I was told that because U-Haul changes tires so frequently, the TPMS is often not recalibrated. That explanation did little to inspire confidence in the vehicle's maintenance. In addition, the truck's cab was dirty upon pickup. Returning the truck was equally confusing. While I was using the U-Haul app to complete the return process, someone arrived in a truck and asked if I needed help. I explained that I was following the app because the store was closed. He simply told me to leave the key and go home. However, when I attempted to report the vehicle's issues in the app, it would not allow me to complete the return unless I selected "No Issues," preventing me from accurately documenting the truck's condition. Overall, this was one of the worst rental experiences I have had. Between the poorly maintained vehicle, inaccurate business hours, the need to visit multiple locations, and the inability to properly report problems during the return process, the experience fell well below what I expect from U-Haul. What surprised me most is that, based on their online reviews, this location appears to rent a large number of trucks despite these ongoing issues. I hope U-Haul will address these concerns so future customers do not have a similar experience. I do not plan to rent from this location again.

Everything was perfect
Stanley TMy issue is with the UHaul check in website. We took the same check in pictures 4 times as the first one would erase after taking the second requested picture. 3rd time we have had issues with your website and photos.
Mary JVery poor customer service overall, but I was in a jam and did not want to go to another location. But I would never come here again.
Matthew MSeeing that I have rented from this location many times, this time was disappointing. My check-in was over the phone and went smoothly. However, I was able to complete the check-in with photos, mileage check, or gas level confirmation. After logging in to my U-Haul account, the mileage and fuel were incorrect. Had I not checked, I would have been charged for several miles and gas that I did not use. The transmission in the truck jerked really badly whenever you tried to stop, shaking the entire truck. The passenger door was damaged and would not fully close, so the dashboard light stayed on unless you slammed the door really hard. The truck also lacked a loading ramp, making it difficult to load the furniture and large boxes. There was no compensation offered for the issues I endured, just a simple apology.
