Someone prior to us left a hat and a bag, which we threw out, they charged me for 3 gallons when I put fuel in the truck prior to returning I have pictures of the odometer and fuel tank levels. Not very happy.
MATTHEW TWhen I arrived there was no clear signage or a Uhaul store. The trucks gave away the location and I walked around until I found a side door that had a paper taped to it stating Uhaul and to call an attendant at a phone number. I called and the man said he would be there in 5 minutes. This was a scheduled reservation by the way. The Uhaul employee arrived and handled the transaction. He verbally gave me instructions and handed me the truck keys. When I started the vehicle I noticed the gas tank was less than half full. The attendant had asked me to fill it back to what it was when I entered the vehicle. I drove the vehicle less than 10 miles and returned it 2 hours early. The gas used was refilled, and the vehicle was returned in the same condition as was given to me. I followed instructions and returned the keys to the drop box. After, my bank card was charged more than the original fee $50. Approx. $75. (Vehicle maintenence). I have no idea what this would be unless he wanted to fill the gas tank up all the way thinking I didn't take pictures. I did! From start to finish. This man is a crook!
