There seems to be confusion regarding the u-haul process between what customers can see and what the rep can see on their screen. Yesterday, I was charged twice for my rental because there was some sort of delay between my payment (through the app) and the reps ability to see that on their screen. Then, when I went to get a refund for the over charge, I had to do it through U-haul (calling a number). Ace cannot provide that refund. With modern systems/technology this seems a bit ridiculous. The reps at Ace hardware are great! It’s not their fault.

I was charged extra for gas - I actually returned the truck with several gallons of gas above the amount from when I picked the truck up and I have the receipt to prove this. You refused to remove the charge and refused to give me credit for the excess gas I left you. I was told by Ace Hardware that there was a computer problem. Why Am I charged extra for your mistake????
Michael CI haven't rented uhaul in over 10 years. I never felt they were maintained well. This new location is very convenient. However, the same issue I experienced 10 years ago persists. The steering was sloppy and loose, didn't feel safe on the highway. The door lock looked damaged and was repaired with epoxy. The truck shuddered when aplying breaks. The vehicle had over 161k miles on it and seemed worn out. I'll go back to Penske truck rental.
mark hOnline pick up/drop off was a breeze, made picking up before the business opened extremely easy. The truck we picked up however needs front end suspension / steering service desperately. Hitting a bump at a speed over 35mph was genuinely alarming. If we were moving further than 6 miles, I would have returned this truck. A bit wild that it was rented out in its current condition.
