The store owner added 10 more miles driven to actual miles driven. I went to the store to confront him today, told him I had proof of the odometer on my phone. Credit me back or I show to Uhaul. He credited 10 miles back to my credit card. He also jack up moving dolly price when I asked him yesterday. I remember it cost about $7, I asked if he has on available and how much. He replied by saying $7 or $10, he had to check. Then he told me he create a separate rental with his store, not on Uhaul for $10. I said no thanks. Actual Fuel gauge, with his initial fuel gauge on agreement was different, too. Shady practices. Not smart with today tech gadget and online biz review.

U-Haul website has the wrong hours of operation posted for this location. I showed up for 9:00 AM reservation and the rental location does not open until 10:00. The business told me they had notified U-Haul twice already and it still wasn’t updated — very frustrating when you have tight plans on a moving day!

We had a terrible experience. Our estimate to purchase and install a hitch was quoted incorrectly, and the time required to install the hitch was underestimated - it took twice as long. When we brought the cost and time issues to Uhaul's attention, neither corporate nor the local affiliate cared. They said it was the corporate estimator's fault (no offer of adjusting our bill), and the installation location argued about the timing - suggesting it was less than it actually was. We will not use them again.

The guy working in the Uhaul store was great. He got me underway really well. When I returned the trailer, there was a drunk dude hanging out where the parking lot was. He accosted me. I had my 14 yr old son with me who was scared. The lot location is a bit sketchy. The drunk dude claimed he worked at a restaurant across the street. He got beligerent with me.
