Excellent customer service! Ron provided me clear and detailed explanations of billing, return process (night drop). Also nicely asked me any moving equipment and accessory needs. I am San Bruno resident, and we are so lucky to have the great U-Haul place like his in our community. Thanks guys! -Sam

The owner is very nice to come outside to get the miles reading as soon as I drove in. Then he made sure I did not pump in any extra gasoline I need to close out my original gas tank reading. I always drive from Daly City to Millbrae because he treats me respectful, very professional.

Rob is awesome and friendly. He gave me a courtesy call letting me know that the type of truck i reserved will not be available but he hooked me up on another type and made the experience very pleasant.

Booked a 26' van. Previous customer failed to return the van I had reserved. UHaul knew an hour prior that the van was not coming back. UHaul sent me to another location 40 miles away. Comped 100 extra miles and $50 which did not cover cost of gas and bridge toll (90 miles extra @ $3.00 per gallon at 7 "actual" mpg + 2 bridge tolls). Never again.

Let the customer know that the vehicle must be dropped off at the same location. I had thought I could drop off at a location closer to my end destination but had to come back to drop the vehicle off.

The simple fact is that I was lied too. I rented the truck as a one-way rental but the following day I realized I could return the truck and take advantage of the deal U-Haul was offering regarding the return back to the original location. I called U-Haul and they said I had to speak to the location I rented from. I called and asked if I could change my rental contract and the guy said we could take care of it when I returned the vehicle. I offered to come right over and make a new contact but he assured me that it was not necessary. The next day when I returned the vehicle I was lied to. First tried to charge regular local rental rates with mileage nearly $500 and when I began to go ballistic he said let me call and see what we can do. The deal allowed 238 miles for a flat rate of $125 and three days of use. I drove all the way from Sacramento, four hours of lousy traffic to deliver this truck back for what, A big lie. They ended up charging me the $225 original price and added mileage charge of about $50. This does not take into account the fuel and bridge tolls I had to incur. So, make sure you don't trust their word like I did.
