Truck box was not cleaned. The truck’s dome light stayed on while I was driving, which was very distracting, especially at night. It made the trip less safe and more stressful. The vehicle should have been checked before being rented out. I hope this issue is addressed so future customers don’t experience the same problem.

Gwyn PFirst off, I would like to say that the truck I rented was in good condition and I had no worries with it. I did take out the extra insurance in case, however I encountered no issues. I did have a hard time with my pick up time. I had to contact UHaul 3 times to correct this issue. What my UHaul app and reservation had, the pick up counter did not have. Representative at the pick up location did seem out of his element in handling transactions. I was not the only one to pick up a truck that morning. I was there at 8:30 am on July 4th. Secondly, drop off location was also mixed up. So the team in Russell Ontario, were surprised when we showed up to drop off the truck in the afternoon on July 4th, 2026. Lastly, thankfully the team in Russell ON were very kind and helpful. They noticed that I was given the wrong printout for the truck I rented for the day. Apparently, if I were to have been stopped by authorities, I would have been (excuse the term) screwed!
