It had snowed durintg the night about 6 to 8 inches. Yes snow had acumulatied on the ground but the streets were clear and wet. My pickup time was set for 9:30am. I got there about 9:15. The posted opening hour was 9:30. No one was there. I called the number and left a message on the voice mail. I waited until 9:45 and I then drove to another U-Haul facility to see if it was open (it wasn't) and if I could get a truck there. I didn't get a call back until around 10:00 that someone was at the Westviiew Automotive sight and I could pickup my truck. It was about 10:30 when I was able to get the paperwork done and drive away. The person who checked me out had a small dog that wouldn't stop barking at me while I was in the office area. The dog wasn't agresive but very annoying. At one point the dog would put his front paws on my leg and bark. The owner would just tell the dog to lay down and be quiet which it never did. This is in and old gas station which is rundown and not very clean. For these reasons I give it a below average rating.

Better vehicle maintenance. The U-Haul I picked up had front end issues making the trip extremely difficult and unsafe.

RYAN PTrailer was filthy inside and outside. The roll up door was jammed , we had to freeze the roller track to get it to function. Interior tie down locations were broken or pulling off the walls so unusable. Very disappointed by this rental. We wouldn’t have accepted it the way it was if we didn’t absolutely need the trailer right then.
