This location was absolutely fine, the issue we had is that we were misinformed/not clear as to where the actual truck we were going to rent was located. Confusion all around. We had a reservation at the Commercial Way property but somehow were bumped to the Garden Grove location and only after I spoke to a rep on the phone were we able to straighten things out.

Was not aware it was in a gas station, so I drove by it the first time. Only one person doing it all. He was very nice, and did a good job, but he had a lot to do manning the entire store and rentals by himself.

Great all the way up to the drop off point. Contract printed no drop off point and they clerk could not recommend a drop off a point. Nor did they mention there are drop boxes because my contract was over at 8am on Sunday morning. Nothing was open... Thank Uhaul for well documented incident of taking advantage of the consumer. 800 number doesn't even start till 9am on Sunday. A lot could be done to improve your service but even if those improvements have happened; I will not be using them. I will refer anyone and everyone who will ask about moving trucks to another company. This was not a good experience.

The process to rent was a nightmare and made me really angry because the person who messaged me said I needed to give her a reference. I gave her one and had to wait for her to call them. Then she told me she needed another one. She should have told me she needed 2 in the first place. That way I could have looked for another number in my contacts while I was waiting around while she talked to the first one. She didn’t but I got a second number for her after waiting and when she called that person hey didn’t answer. So I had to look in my contacts for a third friends number to give her and I did, and that whole thing was a really long time and just as I was typing the third persons phone number into the chat box I get a message “sorry we can’t rent to you today...,,”. I was furious. The chat person just disconnected me without a word. So I went inside and the guy said “You only need one reference. I don’t know why they made you go through all that” and I had to do the form all over again inside and then get the keys. I will use a different company when I rent a truck in 2 weeks when I go pick up the rest of my new carpet. The truck was great but your employee destroyed the experience.

Truck was filthy inside and out, it appear as it hadn’t had a wash in months. I think to be respectful of your customers you should have the curtosey to rent clean vehicles. The loacation itself isn’t the cleanest. Rental process itself was quick and painless and the two workers who assisted were friendly.

Location was great however I'm not sure why when I got there they said my reservation was canceled. I got the truck but was told I need to have it back by 11:00 am the next day. I rented and paid for 24 hrs. I should get credit for the time I didn't get to use it.

Excellent customer service, great new vehicle and I appreciated that they did not try to upsell me to a larger vehicle when I expressed some concern that what I had reserved might not be big enough. One suggestion for the van: power mirrors.

Brad’s Valero is the best UHaul rental location in the city of Orange CA. When scheduling a rental online the website sends me to inferior locations so I book rentals through Brads Valero direct as a walk in in advance to reserve a truck and I am always very satisfied with the product and especially the service from everyone at Brads Valero.
