This was a HORRIBLE experience! I love renting from U-Haul. The App is very easy to use and very reliable with regard to availability and locations. I rented a trailer for 1 day to move items from one storage location to another. The task took much longer than expected, so I went on the App to add a day to the rental. To my astonishment, the trailer had been rented out to another party and I was required to return it at the end of my 24 hours. I had to get my family up at 8AM to travel to the storage unit, unload the trailer and return it to the rental location. But, the location was CLOSED on Sunday. NO ONE at all could have been there to rent the trailer. Period. I had wasted my time following the App requirement! I called the number in the App and a very gracious gentleman added the extra day, which I SHOULD have been able to do per the App because the trailer actually was available. Uggh! NOT what I have expected from U-Haul. You run a very good system and this is the only time I have been inconvenienced.
CHRISTOPHER SStore was located at a ghetto chop shop. Truck had trash inside and was dirty with its front bumper hanging on by a thread.
